Armpit Sweat Stains Causing Embarrassment? Stay Dry…

Is underarm sweat causing you problems? Do you have a hard time keeping your armpits dry? Armpit sweat stains can really take down your confidence level. Your sweaty underarms feel gross. Nobody wants to hang around somebody with wet, smelly armpits who sweats too much.

People with axillary hyperhidrosis often have low self-confidence. Their personal relationships can suffer.

Well, stop letting your underarm sweat get the best of you! You DON’T have to live with artmpit sweat stains any longer. All you have to do is stop trying regular deodorants. Most deodorants don’t work. What you need is a strong ingredient such as aluminum chloride or aluminum zirconium tetrachlorhydrex GLY.

How Aluminum Chloride Works to End Your Armpit Sweat Stains

The aluminum ions are absorbed into the cells that line the eccrine-gland ducts right underneath the outer layer of the skin. Water passes into the cells along with the ions.

This causes the cells to swell, squeezing the eccrine-gland ducts closed. When the ducts are closed, sweat can’t get out.

The cells eventually reach equilibrium. After all, they can’t absorb water forever. When they reach equilibrium, the swelling goes down. This is why an antiperspirant must be reapplied.

There is some evidence that high amounts of aluminum chloride can ultimately shrink the sweat glands over time. This will permanently decrease the amount of perspiration they produce!

The Armpit Sweat Stains Eliminator:

The Best Aluminum Based Antiperspirants
Drysol. First things first, let’s start with Drysol. This is basically the brand name for aluminum chloride hexahydrate. It’s so strong that only a small amount should be applied at a time. It’s reported to work in 80% of the people who use it for hyperhidrosis. It should be applied at night and rinsed off in the morning.

A milder form of Drysol can also be applied onto the hands or the feet for those who suffer from hand and foot sweating.

Secret Clinical Strength. This is one of the best antiperspirants for women. It’s just as strong and effective as prescription products, except that it doesn’t cause any irritation.

The active ingredient is 20% aluminum zirconium tetrachlorhydrex GLY. It will keep you dry for up to 48 hours, so it doesn’t need to be applied every day! Secret Clinical Strength is available in 4 different scents, including one unscented, hypoallergenic formula for those with sensitive skin.

Gillette Clinical Strength Antiperspirant – Deodorant. This is made from the same company as Secret, only it’s ideal for men. This strong antiperspirant is a great choice for men who suffer from excessive sweating.

It also contains 20% aluminum zirconium tetrachlorhydrex GLY. Only 3 clicks of the product need to be applied onto each armpit before bedtime. The formula provides triple protection: it fights against odor, protects against wetness, and contains ingredients to minimize irritation.

• Mitchum Power Gel. This gel antiperspirant uses a special “OdorGuard” technology to eliminate odor. It keeps your skin fresh and conditioned. It won’t cause any itching. There are formulas for men and women both, although the ingredients don’t differ much.

The active ingredient in Mitchum Power Gel is 25% aluminum sesquichlorohydrate. There are formulas available in different scents, including an unscented variety.

• Certain-Dri Antiperspirant. Many people rate this as the #1 antiperspirant. There is a milder form of Certain-Dri and a strong form. You can expect up to 72 hours of protection at a time with the Certain-Dri Protection System!

It’s been approved as safe and effective by the FDA. Even though it contains a high amount of aluminum chloride, it’s still available without a doctor’s prescription.

Certain-Dri is available with 12% and 25% aluminum chloride. There is a new AM Underarm Refresher product available which can be used as a supplemental deodorant for added protection.

Give one of these a try and you should see an improvement with your underarm sweating! Just be careful. Aluminum-based antiperspirants are so strong that they should be applied only when needed. Don’t apply any of these onto broken skin.
